Dr. Oestervemb is more than a regular dentist…
HE WAS RANKED NUMBER ONE IN HIS GRADUATING CLASS
Dr. O, as he’s known to his patients, graduated as valedictorian (#1 in his class) from the Royal Dental College, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During his time in dental school he was also granted a 1-year full time scholarship for clinical research, and was subsequently awarded his Master’s degree with an emphasis on Esthetic Dentistry.
DR. O IS THE ONLY DENTIST IN WINCHESTER VA TO BE CERTIFIED BY THE AMERICAN BOARD OF GENERAL DENTISTRY IN A 50-MILE RADIUS.
In 2015 he became certified by the American Board of General Dentistry (ABGD) and completed a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. The American Board of General Dentistry certifies only 0.5% of dentists.

AN AMAZING DENTIST FOR ANXIOUS ADULTS AND CHILDREN
Dr. DeWeerd earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, the only Dental School in the U.S. that offers programs in all dental specialties. Since graduation she’s been working with children and adults – treating patients of all ages.
Dr. DeWeerd really enjoys getting kids to feel great about their teeth and going to the dentist. She also enjoys working with people who have anxiety or nervousness associated with dentistry. She’s puts her patients at ease by taking her time, explaining what’s she’s doing, and regularly checking in with them to ensure they’re comfortable.
